$100 Idea: 2 things to remember when using numbers in your sales copy…

  1. The numeral 9 is a faster read with more impact than the word nine. That's why you should use numerals whenever it's appropriate.

  2. $10,000.00 is perceived as being greater than $10,000. So, if you're promoting a sweepstakes, scholarship or the benefits of your product or service, include the extra digits. In this case, more is a good thing. However, when you're selling a product or service that costs $10,000 and your audience perceives it as expensive, drop the extra zeros.
Making a business decision is just common-sense, when you have the facts!
